Ingredients

  2. 1 smallOnion
  3. 1 smallGreen Bell Pepper
  4. 1 smallYellow Bell Pepper
  5. 1/2 tbspMinced Garlic
  6. 1/2 lbGround Turkey (Lean)
  7. 1/2 lbHot Turkey Sausage (No Casing)
  8. 1 canDiced Tomatoes
  9. 2 cupPumpkin Puree
  10. 1 1/2 tbspChili Powder
  11. 1 canBlack Beans
  12. 1 cupWater
  13. 1 dashSalt
  14. 1/2 tspGround Black Pepper

Cooking Instructions

    Cook the ground turkey and turkey sausage in a skillet until evenly brown.

    Heat the oil in a medium sauce pan over medium heat, and saute the onion (diced), peppers (diced), and garlic until tender.

    Stir in the turkey, tomatoes, pumpkin, beans, and water.

    Season with chili powder, pepper, and salt.

    Reduce heat to low, cover, and simmer 20 minutes (or until fully heated).
