Ingredients

  1. 250 gmscooked rice
  2. 1capsicum
  3. 1carrot
  4. 1potato
  5. 1 inchlong ginger
  6. 2-3green chillies
  7. 1onion
  8. 2bread loafs
  9. Fresh coriander
  10. 50 gmsbesan/gram flour
  11. 50 gmsSuji/semolina
  12. 1 tbspred chilli powder
  13. 1 tbspcumin powder
  14. 1 tbspamchoor powder
  15. 1 tbspsalt
  16. 1 tbspsaid/fennel seeds
  17. 1/2 tbspturmeric powder
  18. Oil for shallow/deep frying
  19. 100 gmsbread crumbs and origano for coating

Cooking Instructions

    Mash the left over rice with spoon..

    Chop finely capsicum,onion.Grate raw potato,carrot,ginger

  3. 3

    Soak bread loafs in water,squeeze the entire water,crumble and add to mashed rice

  4. 4

    Add besan and suji

  5. 5

    Add in all the chopped /grated veggies

  6. 6

    Add in all the masalas/spices as per quantity mentioned in ingredients and knead well into a smooth dough.Grease your hands and make small flattened cutlets with the dough.

    Add salt and origano flakes in bread crumbs and place in a flat plate

    Coat the cutlets nicely in bread crumbs

  9. 9

    Shallow fry in hot oil

  10. 10

    And here they are ready to serve with mint /coriander chutney
