Ingredients

  1. 2 cupsflour(gwangwani biyu)
  2. 1 teaspoonBaking powder
  3. Pinchsalt
  4. 1 teaspoonsugar
  5. 1egg
  6. 2 tablespoonbutter
  7. 2 piecesicefish(sukumbiya biyu)
  8. Scotch bonnet
  9. 1big onion
  10. Seasonings of choice
  11. Ginger powder
  12. Halfgreen pepper
  13. Oil

Cooking Instructions

    In a bowl add flour +butter mix very well,till the butter is well combined with the flour,add in sugar,baking powder salt nd mix,beat 1 egg nd pour inside the flour mix,add water gradually,gradually untill u foam a soft dough,keep aside lets make the filing

    Chop 1 onion,in a pan add 2 tablespoon oil,pour the onion nd start frying untill the onion are soft,add in the mashed fish,scotch bonnet ginger all at the same time nd mix,stir fry for 2 mins then add in seasoning nd lastly green pepper,turn off heat nd let it cool

    Cut a small amount of the dough nd roll it out,as thin as possible

    Brush the edge with water,

    Press the edges down,to stick together as shown here

    Roll out with both hands

    Cut off the edges to prevent the filing from coming out

    Deep fry on low heat,then high untill goldness is achieved

My neighbors naming ceremony is on Tuesday , I'm gonna make this for her but I don't know the quantity of flour that will give me 60pieces.
