The gods of buns have always been against me, each time I try making buns🙄 I had problem getting the round shape. It comes out so bad and at times soggy. It took countless errors to get the round shape.

Ingredients

  1. 480 gramsflour
  2. Halfcup sugar (adjust to taste)
  3. Halfteaspoon grated nutmeg
  4. 1large egg
  5. Halftablespoon baking powder
  6. 1 tablespoonpowdered milk (optional)
  7. Pinchsalt
  8. 3levelled tablespoons magarine
  9. warm water for mixing
  10. Vegetable oil for frying

Cooking Instructions

    Add the flour, sugar, baking powder, margarine, nutmeg, salt, egg, powdered milk in a bowl and mix to combine thoroughly.

    Gradually add the warm water to form a not too thick smooth dough. Cover and set aside.

    Heat vegetable oil in a deep fryer or pot. It should be moderately heated.

  4. 4

    Cut the dough inside the oil like puff puff. Fry until done and crusty.
