A friend's recipe,perfect for the cold weather.

Inspired by @RecetasCaserasNora's recipe. I'm a fan of soups, especially in cold weather, so to change things up from the usual noodle soup, I prepared this recipe. Both kids and adults will love it, and it's very easy to make.

Supposedly arroz caldo, but the rice isn't sticky. This dish is good for a cold weather.

I was very sick with a cold the day after Christmas and it was a very rainy, chilly day outside. Luckily, I had these ingredients laying around the house. I instantly felt better with the hot soup and the vitamins and minerals of the broccoli. It was so easy to make quickly. Hope it helps you to get better!!

with all that cold weather I was in need of a comforting but healthy soup. So I came up with this :)

I am sick and I didn't feel like traditional chicken noodle soup so I created this! I substituted cabbage for the noodles to add the vitamins I clearly need and potatoes so I'd feel full. Perfect food for fighting a cold. Enjoy!! :)

5 ingredients. Soup and salad night or a grilled cheese sandwich would also go great with this.Nice for cold weather days. We made small side salad out of our salad bar for this dinner its not just for lunches .

Reason for making this soup. It poured rain all night, rainy day. It came a cold front, comfort food on a cold wet day. I was hungry for some good meaty soup, satisfying a craving. Thus the soup was made!!!

It's perfect for warming you up after being out in the cold weather!!

The weekend was absolutely lovely, sunny but cold. Being outside in the cold weather you needed to wear all!!! I mean all the accessories…gloves, hats, scarves, ear muffs. 🙂 Yesterday morning, I had already baked the Vanilla cake for dessert, but we wanted something to warm us up from the cold weather, and this soup was exactly what we needed.This traditional greek soup is full of vegetables and beef for a hearty, delicious warm me up dish. 🙂 If you love soups and are not a meat eater just omit the meat and have a hearty hot vegetable soup. 🙂

Very good soup for cold weather

After enjoying, i realized if i added more ginger it would have kicked this cold quicker. eggs yolks definitely round it out as well. temper them in at the end.

I recently went to an Asian Supermarket for the first time and I was surprised to find so many unique and vegetarian ingredients. This warm wonton soup is an original recipe I created to keep warm during the cold weather.

Today, with the cold weather, we decided to make a warm, nutritious, and at the same time delicious soup. I was in really bad pain one day went to the hospital and found out it was my gallbladder. I had to many stones and it had to be removed. So while I was waiting for my surgery I couldn't really eat anything and I didn't like the can soup so I decided to make my own.

It was a beautiful sunny day here yesterday, quite chilly with the temperature not going above 7 degrees.. Cold right! 🙂 I took Charlie for his morning walk to the park and was so fascinated with the colored leaves on the trees, just absolutely stunning.I wanted to take photos to post them, but I didn’t have my camera with me so I tried to take photos with my phone. Of course that didn’t work out because my phone is pre-historic and just freezes up every time I want to use it, so annoying!Our walk was fun, charlie had a great time running around and just enjoying the sun and playing with the other doggies…;) I took in all those beautiful colors and fresh air and started heading back home to make this wonderful soup which has a little of this and a little of that in it. 🙂
