Ingredients

  1. 1 cupIndia gate basmati rice
  2. 2 tbsptomato
  3. 1 cupcarrot, Cauliflower,Capsicum,Green beans, Mutter
  4. Bay leaf 2
  5. 1/4 tspCinnamon, black pepper, Cloves
  6. 2black Cardamom
  7. 3 TSPSalt, 1 TSP sugar
  8. Oil, water.....

Cooking Instructions

    Rinse the rice then soak the Basmati rice in water for 30 min. Drain and keep the rice aside.

    Take the deep bottom pan.Add 4 cup of water and heat the water on high flame. Bring the water to rapid fire boil then add the 2 TSP oil and rice. Then rice must be 75% cooked.Remove the pan.

    Immediately drain the rice in a colander.You can also rinse the rice gently with water so that the grains stop cooking.Gently fluffy and keep aside.

    Cut all the vegetable into vertical/ small sized dices and deep fry.

    Heat oil / ghee on a pan.Add bay leaf, cloves, black pepper, cardamoms and saute.Add chopped tomato and fry vegetable and continue to saute.

    Add salt and sugar and mix well.

  7. 7

    Add rice and saute over high heat for five min. Garnish with coriander leaves and roast raisin or kaju.
