Ingredients

6 people
  • 1 1/2 cupOats flour (grind instant Oats)
  • 1/2 cupSuji/Rava
  • 3/4 cupGrated Jaggery
  • 1/4 Cupghee/butter
  • 1/2 cupCurd
  • 2 tbspCocoa powder
  • 2 tbspDates paste
  • 1 1/2 tspBaking powder
  • 1 tspBaking soda
  • 1/4 tspSalt
  • 1/2 cupMilk at room temperature
  • 1/2 tspCinnamon powder
  • 1/4 cupChopped Walnuts
  • 1/4 cupChopped Dates

Steps

45 minutes
  1. 1

    Mix all dry ingredients by using Strainer

  2. 2

    In a big bowl whisk Ghee and Jaggery until it become fluffy, add curd and whisk again for 2- 4 minutes.

  3. 3

    Now I this mixture add dry ingredients and milk in portions, mix it with soft hand and make smooth lumps free batter.

  4. 4

    Add dates paste in mixture and mix it well.

  5. 5

    Now add half chopped dates and walnuts in same batter and mix it again.

  6. 6

    Transfer batter In a greased cake tin and spread left chopped dates and walnuts, you may also add chopped almonds.

  7. 7

    Bake cake in 180degree C in preheated oven for 25-30 minutes. You can also bake it in preheated cooker for about 30-35 minutes

  8. 8
