Ingredients

  1. 1 cupbasmati rice
  2. 2 cupwater
  3. 1/2 cupchopped carrot
  4. 1/2 cupgreen peas
  5. 5-6cashew nuts
  6. 4cloves
  7. 4black pepper
  8. stickCinnamon
  9. 2small bay leaves
  10. 1 tbsjeera
  11. 1star anise
  12. 2green cardamom
  13. 4 tbsghee
  14. Salt

Cooking Instructions

    Soak the rice in water for 1 hour.

  2. 2

    Take a cooker add ghee. Let it get hot, then add clove, bay leaves,jeera, cinnamon stick, green cardamom, black pepper, star anise and fry then for 30 sec. Then add cashew nuts and fry for 10sec.

    Then add the veggies. Mix it well. Add the rice to it again give it a mix and add 2 cups of water.

    Add salt according to taste and wait till it will boil. Once you get one boil close the cover of the cooker and cook it upto 2 whistle in a medium flame. Don't open it quickly. Let it release air then open it.
