Cooking Instructions

Method:
Crush the biscuits in a blender(Do not take Marie biscuits as they get soggy very soon).Take it out in a bowl and mix the melted butter into it. - 2
Set a layer of the same in a dish.Flatten it well and keep it in the refrigerator for 25-30 min so that it sets well and becomes firm.
- 3
In order to prepare the toffee sauce take a can of condensed milk and give it 4 whistles in a pressure cooker. Submerge the whole can in the water. Let it cool down a bit (not much as the toffee sauce will thinken) Take it out in a bowl and whisk for a minute to smoothen it.
Spread the toffee sauce on the biscuit layer. Keep it again in the refrigerator for 25 min so that it gets firm. - 4
For whisking the cream :
I have taken Amul fresh cream. Cut it open and keep it in the refrigerator for minimum 4 hours.
Take out the thick part of the cream in a chilled bowl (I have kept the bowl add well as whiskers in the freezer for an hour) Keep the bowl in a big tray or dish with ice cubes. Whisk it for 5-6 minutes or until it doubles and gets fluffy. Add in sugar and diluted coffee(coffee is optional).Whisk it again for 3-4 min till it thickens up. - 5
Take out the dish from the refrigerator and spread a layer of banana on it.
- 6
Now gently spread the cream and set well.Garnish it with some chocolate shavings and keep it in the refrigerator for 40 minutes so that it sets well.
- 7
Enjoy the creamilious banoffee pie

Bangin' Banoffee Pie Bangin' Banoffee Pie
This desert is so simple to make yet tastes like it has taken a decade to master! Made in about five easy steps, it can be dressed up for a formal dinner or for dinner with friends, great as a party dish or just something to keep the kids happy! With bananas in you have one of your five a day, low on chocolate and minimal butter so although it tastes 'so good its bad for you', it isn't! Although one too many pieces can get a tad sickly....but overall this is a great wee desert! Enjoy! natzcoxxy2k -

Banoffee Pie Banoffee Pie
This past Easter, I decided to make a non-Polish dessert and this English-inspired pie recipe jumped out at me. I found it in the New York Times recipe section and revised it to suit my taste. The Banoffee Pie has layers of dulce de leche, bananas, coffee-flavored whipped cream topped with mini chocolate chips in a graham-cracker crust. What I didn’t know was that dulce de leche (sweetened carmelized canned milk) is common in Poland and is oftenused for a Mazurek pastry made for Easter and has been a Polish Easter tradition since the 17th century. Banoffee Pie, itself, is now commonly served in Poland. Adam Janowski -
