Ingredients

30 minutes
4 servings
  1. 4 cupswheat flour
  2. 3-4 tspoil for moin
  3. as per taste salt
  4. 1 tbspturmeric powder
  5. 1 tspcarom seeds
  6. As neededwater to bind a dough
  7. 1 ltrwater for boiling baati
  8. as required Enough oil to deep fry baati

Cooking Instructions

    Take whole wheat flour n add salt, turmeric, carrom seeds, oil n mix well.

  2. 2

    Adding water gradually, bind a semi soft dough or a dough like paratha. Take some portion of the flour n make round n flatten it. Make each round like this.

    Meanwhile, keep water on high flame for boiling. Once the water starts boiling, drop 1 by 1 each round portion in boiling water.let them boil for 5 to 7 minutes n flip them other side. Boil for 5 to 7 minutes again. N remove from water.

    Let them cool down slightly n cut them into pieces.

    Now deep fry them on medium flame.

  6. 6

    Baati is ready. You can serve it with hot daal.
