Cakes are everyone's favorite. Whenever there is an occasion or event, we immediately order a cake. And especially in birthdays. But I love homemade cakes. I don't have much fun in market cakes. And a homemade cake that is absolutely pure and made with love. I learned this recipe from my cousin 18 years ago. And even today I follow the same recipe.

Ingredients

1 hour 20 minute
  1. 2 cupwhole wheat
  2. 2 cupPowdered sugar
  3. 1 cupbutter
  4. 1 cupyogurt
  5. 1/2 cupmilk
  6. 1 tbspbaking powder
  7. 1/3 tbspbaking soda
  8. 2 tbspessence (I used Orange flavor here)
  9. 1/4 tbspfood color (Here I have made a fruit cake and taken the yellow color.)
  10. 3 tbsptuti-fruity

Cooking Instructions

1 hour 20 minute
  1. 1

In a mixing bowl, whisk together the whole wheat, powdered sugar, baking powder and baking soda. And mix everything with the help of a whisk. Now add butter, yoghurt, milk, essence and color and mix it well.

  2. 2

Now mix again with the help of whisk so that no lumps remain inside. Now add tuti-fruity and mix it.

  3. 3

Now grease the cake mold with ghee and cover it with parchment paper. Now pour the cake better in it.
Place a high skewer on a clay pan on the gas and place a cake mold on top of it and cover it with a large saucepan as shown in the image. The flame of the gas has to be kept slow.

  4. 4

Check after about 25-30 minutes. If you think cake is not ready yet then let it happen again for 5 minutes. Use a toothpick to check if the cake is done. If the cake does not stick to the toothpick then the cake is done.

  5. 5

Now immediately turn off the gas and let cool to room temperature. When it gets cool, decorate it any way you like and have fun.
