Ingredients

1 hour
4 servings
  1. 1 cupgrated carrots
  2. 1 cupall-purpose flour
  3. 1 cuppowdered sugar
  4. 2eggs
  5. 1/2 cupoil
  6. 2 tspcinnamon powder
  7. 1 1/2 tspbaking powder
  8. 1/2 tspbaking soda
  9. 1 pinchsalt

Cooking Instructions

1 hour
  1. 1

Sift the all-purpose flour, baking powder, baking soda, and salt twice to incorporate the air. Keep aside.

  2. 2

In a large bowl, beat the eggs. Mix in the sugar gradually while you continue beating the mixture. Next, add in the cinnamon powder and oil. Mix well.

  3. 3

Gently fold in the flour in batches so that it forms a smooth batter.

  4. 4

Finally, add in the grated carrots. Mix well.

  5. 5

In the meantime, preheat the oven at 180°C.

  6. 6

Line the baking tin with parchment paper. Pour in the batter and tap a few times to remove air bubbles.

  7. 7

Bake the cake at 180°C for 40-45 minutes. Check with a toothpick if the cake is cooked. The cooking time varies depending on the oven.

  8. 8

Move it to a rack and allow it to cool completely.

  9. 9

Remove to a serving dish and slice it as desired. The Carrot Cinnamon Cake is ready to serve.
