Matar Paneer

A lovely looking nutritious and delicious side dish made in our Country with Cottage Cheese and Green Peas.
It is a yummy dish relished with both Rice and Rotis. It tastes awesome with Pulao.
In this particular one, I have used only Fresh Cream and have not used Cashewnuts.
This is a must have in my house and is made every Week sometimes. And the Cottage Cheese used here is homemade as well from fresh Cow's Milk.
Infact the Fresh Cream used is also from the Cow's Milk.
Hence it's not only super duper creamy but also absolutely delicious.
It's a pure bliss to have it in Winters with mouthwatering Naans or Kulche. Or even Phulkas or Parathas.
Cumin Rice is also a great combination that is perfectly awesome with this. An all in all, a yummy side dish on any day. Enjoy!
Enjoy Cooking with Zeen!

Matar paneer is a very simple yet delicious curry made from “matar” (Hindi for “peas”) and paneer (fresh cheese). This recipe is a simplified version of the original Indian Matar Paneer, but it is still a powerhouse of flavor and richness. If paneer is not available in your region, you can easily make your own with just two simple ingredients: whole milk and lemon. There is a recipe on my page you can easily follow.NOTES:* Paneer should look like the picture, not not over brown or they will harden. It’s a okay if not all sides get brown.#CA2025 Veggie K -
