Ingredients

50 minutes
4 servings
  1. 1 cupkootoAtta (buck wheat flour)
  2. Salt to taste rocksalt (senda namak)
  3. 1/2 tspblack pepper powder
  4. 1 table spoonfruit salt
  5. Water as required
  6. To tastegreen chilies paste
  7. 2 table spooncurd
  8. for greasingoil
  9. to deep fryOil
  10. For serving salad stick and peanuts roasted

Cooking Instructions

    Mix curd, green chilies paste to taste and rock salt, black pepper to kootoAtta (buck wheat flour) and mix well.Make thick batter,use water if needed. Mix batter well,add fruit salt and mix well.

    Add Add sufficient water to steamer and grease idli mold. Heat till water reach to boiling temperature. pour the mixture to idli mold.Steam till cooked about 7 minutes.When ready,cool and remove from button idlies from moulds.

    Heat oil and deep fry till golden brown. Heat oil and deep fry till golden brown.place on absorbent paper.

    Serve hot Kooto atta- button idli pakora with salad stick,dip and peanuts roasted.

    Suggestion -Make one day before serving and keep in refrigerator,deep fry just before serving.
