Kokum is very good for health and to enjoy as a Mojito, Syrup is ideal during peak Summer time.
Cooking Instructions

For Kokum paste - soak dried kokum in hot water for 2 hrs. Add to a blender to make a paste

For syrup - in a heavy bottomed bowl add water and sugar, bring it to heat to make a syrup, set aside.

To the syrup add kokum, sliced ginger, black salt, salt, roasted cumin powder, black pepper powder and bring it to heat, on low flame stir to thicken for 10 mins

Add lime juice and set aside. Strain and cool completely

For Mojito - in a glass add lime juice, crushed mint leaves, add kokum syrup, lot of ice and soda, stir.

Garnish with lime wedge and mint leaves and beat the heat
