Banana bread
A healthy choice for breakfast, snack or lunch box
Cooking Instructions

In a bowl, place a sifter, add all purpose flour, cinnamon powder and baking powder, sift well, mix it and set it aside.

Peel banana, mash well and set it aside.

In a bowl, whisk the butter and sugar, add eggs and milk whisk it well.

Add mashed banana and chopped dry fruits & mix it.

Gradually add flour mixture and fold with the help of spatula.

Take a desired shape pan. Grease it with oil on all the sides. Place the baking paper. Put the mixture in the mould. (Don't over fill it, only 3/4th of the pan is supposed to be filled)

Top it with chopped dried fruits.

Tap the pan against the counter to avoid any air bubbles trapped in.

Pre-heat a pot on stove on medium flame for 15 minutes

Place a stand in it.

Place the pan on the stand close the lid.

Let it cook on medium high flame for 5 minutes.

Then reduce the flame to medium low for 40 to 45 minutes.

Insert a toothpick in center, it should come out clean.

Remove the banana bread from pot, place it on a wire rack to cool down for 10 minutes. Remove banana bread from pan and let it cool completely.

Cut it into slices

NOTE:
The more bananas are ripe the better result it would be.Skip dry fruits if you want to make simple banana bread.
Don't miss to add cinnamon powder as it enhances the taste.
