How to Drain Bean Sprouts (and Shredded Cabbage)

I am not sure when I started using this method, but I just did!
When cutting the bottom, if you make the hole too big, then the bean sprouts will run out with the water, so make sure to make it a small cut..
You can also cut both sides on the bottom . Recipe by bobitin

Really Easy! How To Wash Bean Sprouts Really Easy! How To Wash Bean Sprouts
This is my mother's secret time-saving technique.Actually, until recently I thought everyone washed bean sprouts like this. She told me that this is way too simple to upload! But I went ahead and did it anyway.Be sure to use bean sprouts that come in plastic bags! Sometimes you see ones sold in paper bags, but the bottoms of the bags tend to fall away so I don't recommend them! In Step 4, when there's just a little water left in the bag, the bean sprouts tend to fall out, so be careful. Recipe by Haranouenoponyoponyo cookpad.japan -

It was brought to my attention that if you always cut up cabbage in different ways then its texture is also going to be different every time.If you cut cabbage along the grain, you get a crunchy texture. If you cut it against it, it will produce a much softer texture.Try cutting it whatever way suits you. Recipe by Kapizou cookpad.japan -

Cabbage and Bean Sprouts Stir Fried in Miso Butter Cabbage and Bean Sprouts Stir Fried in Miso Butter
I wanted to make a dish using lots of cabbage. This is filling even without any meat in it! It really goes well with rice. The seasonings are on the salty side, but they'll be just right when cooked with the vegetables since the vegetables will exude a lot of moisture. When stir-frying the vegetables, add the cabbage at the end so that it doesn't get mushy. This is a matter of taste, but I think it's best if this is salted generously, since the salt enhances the butter and makes the stir fry go really well with plain rice.If you add some meat the stir-fry will be even more delicious. For 3 to 5 servings. Recipe by Nanohana uchan cookpad.japan -
