  10. 1 tspBaking Powder
  11. 1/2 tspBaking soda
  12. 1 pinchsalt
  13. 1/2 tspVanilla Essence
  14. Milk as required

Cooking Instructions

30 - 35 minutes
  1. 1

Mash bananas with help of a fork or churn in a mixer grinder to form a smooth paste and then transfer to a mixing bowl.
Dry roast walnuts, allow to cool and chop them into pieces.

  2. 2

In a mixing bowl, sieve and mix dry ingredients like maida, baking soda, baking powder, cinnamon powder, and salt and keep aside.

  3. 3

Grease the cake mould, put butter paper, and keep it aside. Put Oven or assembled Oven for preheating.
In the mixing bowl, add oil + curd and whisk well, add semolina + vanilla essence + sugar, and give a nice mix. Let it rest for 15 - 20 minutes as the semolina needs to be soaked.

  4. 4

Now gradually start adding the dry mixture to the wet mixture and mix well by following the cut-and-fold method. Add Choco chips and mix. We need a ribbon-like flowing consistency cake batter, if required add milk.
    The cake batter is ready.

  5. 5

Transfer to greased cake mold and sprinkle walnuts + Choco chips and it is ready to go to the oven. Bake for 30 - 35 minutes but check after 20 minutes, bake further for a few more minutes as per requirement.
Let it cool and then de-mould.

  6. 6

The cake is ready to cut. Cut into pieces and Serve.
