  1. 1 kgcarrot (gajar)
  2. 125 gramssugar
  3. 1/2 litre milk with cream
  4. 1 tablespoon ghee
  5. 1/2 tspoon cardamom powder
  6. 1/4 cupdry fruits

    Wash, wipe, peel and grate carrots with grater.

    Heat a pan. Add ghee in the pan.Add grated carrots and mix well.Cover and cook till carrots get tender.

    Now add milk with cream and cook.When milk evaporate add sugar and cardamom powder.Add dry fruits.

    Saute for two minutes and turn off the gas.Gajar ka halwa is ready to serve.Serve hot or cold as desired.
