Ingredients

  1. 750 gmsCarrot/ gajar
  2. As requiredSugar (as per taste)
  3. 1 litreMilk
  4. 1/2 cupGhee
  5. as required Dry fruits (almond, cashew, pistachio)
  6. 400 gmsMawa/ khoya
  7. 2 tspCardamom powder

    Firstly grate the carrot and keep it aside.Now in a another thick bottomed pan Saute all the grated carrots without ghee and milk for about 15 mins.Then in it add 1 litre of milk and cook it in medium flame until carrots / gajar turns soft for about 15-20 min.Now add sugar in it according to your taste.Cook in the sugar until it dissolve and start sticking in the pan and when the gajar turns. into a chewy and shinning texture.

    Noe in it add ghee 1/2 cups Mix them well.And stir it for 2-3 mins.Now add all the dry fruits,khoya and cardamom powder.

    Now cook it in high flame and stir it continuously for about 5 mins.

    Winter special dessert Gajar ka halwa is ready to serve to your guest.
