Ingredients

  1. 1 lbsEye Round Steak, Thinly Sliced
  2. 1 tbspCooking Wine
  3. 3 tbspCooking Oil
  4. 1 tbspPeppercorns
  5. 1 tbspDried Chili Pepper
  6. 1/2 tspSalt
  7. 1/2 tspBlack Pepper
  8. 2 tbspSichuan Spicy Paste
  9. 1 tbspHomemade or Store Bought Chilli Oil
  10. 1 tspSugar

Cooking Instructions

    Cut the eye round steak into thin strips.

  2. 2

    Bring water to a boil, then add the beef strips and cooking wine. Boil for 2 to 3 minutes.

    Drain the beef and rinse with hot water. Pat dry with a paper towel.

  4. 4

    Heat cooking oil over medium heat. Add peppercorns and dried chilli pepper, stir-frying for 10 seconds.

    Add the beef and stir-fry for 2 to 3 minutes.

    Add salt, black pepper, Sichuan spicy paste, and homemade chili oil. Stir-fry for another 2 to 3 minutes.

    Sprinkle sugar over the beef and mix well to coat evenly.

  8. 8

    Then serve!
