Summer squash aka chappan kaddu is consider a very low type subzi and kids don't eat it.. but try this subzi once and I guarantee kids will love it...

Cooking Instructions

Wash, peel(optional) and cut the summer squash.
- 2
Heat oil in a kadhai(wok). Add cumin and mustard seeds. Let them splutter. Add chopped onion and cook them till soft and light pink.

Add tomatoes and spices, and cook for a while. Add water and cook till water dries and masalas are cooked properly.

Once dry, add chopped kaddu and mix well. Cover and cook for 15-20mins or till kaddu is soft to eat.

Add peanut powder and kasuri methi to it and turn off the flame.

Enjoy this awesome subzi with hot parathas or phulkas.
