Fennel and Turnip Salad Fennel and Turnip Salad
I made this because I received some organic fennel leaves.Use fresh turnips and mushrooms. You could mix it with some pre-prepared dressing later, but for this salad, I think it's best to mix it all together with the dressing in a bowl. If you dress it directly in the bowl, coat with some oil first so that it doesn't become watery. Recipe by Asaras cookpad.japan -

Izakaya Pub-style Kotchori Kimchi (Turnip Salad) Izakaya Pub-style Kotchori Kimchi (Turnip Salad)
At my parents' house, my husband put ground sesame seeds and soy sauce on his light pickled turnips since he doesn't like pickled dishes... then it occurred to me to add sesame oil. This has now become a standard dish in our home. When I told my friend about it, she said that it's just like kotchori salad that they serve at Japanese gastro-pubs, That's how I learned about choregi salad.Season the turnip by rubbing in plenty of salt and drawing out the water. This step makes optimizes the minimal amount of seasonings. It's hard to explain how much the turnips should be rinsed, so rinse lightly, then adjust to taste. (You may not be able to stop at just tasting it!) For 500 g's worth of turnip. Recipe by Tomomikicchin cookpad.japan -

Turnip Namul-style Salad with Sesame Oil Turnip Namul-style Salad with Sesame Oil
Turnips are in season: in spring, from March to May; and in autumn, from October to November. I like juicy spring turnips the best. I normally use smoked salmon or canned tuna, but I used imitation crab sticks to make this dish even cheaper as the consumption tax rate has been raised recently. I won't be defeated by tax increase!Don't add too much salt to season the salad at the end. I normally grind roasted sesame seeds halfway through and sprinkle over the salad, but you can use store-bought ground sesame seeds as well. Recipe by COCOnchino daidokoro cookpad.japan -

Turnip, Cured Ham and Arugula Salad Turnip, Cured Ham and Arugula Salad
I tried to recreate an appetizer I ate at a certain Italian restaurant. This is a large dish version for sharing at home.Make it just before eating.Note 1: Taste it and adjust the amount of Krazy Salt you add to the turnip and salad. If you are using a small amount of ham, it's fine to add a lot of salt.Note 2: Add the oil last (as a coating). It slightly prevents the salad from becoming watery.
