For the meatballs:

In a large bowl, add ground pork and salt.

Mix by hand until it's sticky and pale.

Add the rest of the ingredients and mix until combined.

Apply oil on hands, shape into 1"meatballs, place on a plate

Combine corn starch and water in a small bowl.

In a deep skillet, heat a 1/2 inch of oil to 350°F.

Gently place the meatballs into the oil.

Cook until the meatballs are golden on all sides.

Transfer the meatballs to the plate.

Drain extra oil out from the skillet to the heat-safe bowl.

Heat to medium and add peppers, cook for 1 minute.

Add all the sauce ingredients and bring to a simmer.

Stir in half the starch mix, cook for 30 secs. Add the rest.

Cook/stir until the sauce is syrupy, or for about 5 minutes.

Add the meatballs and toss to combine.

Cook until the meatballs are heated through. Serve.

Use pineapple juice instead of orange juice for this recipe.
