Porky Green Noodles

Green cabbages tend to sit longer than expected, at least in my fridge. Any leafy vegetables are easy to eat after heating them up, so for this recipe I paired them with one of our favorite noodles and added some protein :-)

Gather all the ingredients.

Cut the bottom end, separate the cabbage stems with fingers.

Cut meat into bite sized pieces.

Marinate with 1tsp soy sauce/1 tsp potato starch/1 tbs sake.

Chop cabbage into 1/2" wide strips.

Prepare noodles right before cooking. (ID: 21629131 2-6)

Oil in a large skillet over medium heat.

Add garlic and cook until fragrant.

Add meat and cook until almost heated through.

Add mushrooms and cook until almost heated through.

Add cabbage and cook until wilted.

NOTE: Work on batches to easily stir while cooking.

Add noodles/all the sauce ingredients and toss combine.

Taste, adjust with salt as needed. Serve.

Add fish sauce for a hint of umami. Finish with toasted sesame oil for the aroma.
