GF Butter Boozy Fruit Cake GF Butter Boozy Fruit Cake
...not a nasty gross fruit cake with terrible dried candied stuff that never should have been created in the first place. Okay now that I've gotten that out of my system, here is what we like in a fruit cake. Our inspiration is the same ingredients the that we would love in trail mix incorporated into a rich dense cake. Make a glorious dense cake and fill with great stuff then moisten with booze you can't live without! Easy right. Fruitcake should not be so hard... jason williams -

Easy Pound Cake with Dried Fruit Easy Pound Cake with Dried Fruit
I created this recipe because I wanted to make a delicious pound cake that can be a little gift to take to somebody's house. There are recipes that use vegetable oil, but the butter definitely makes the cake more delicious. Please mix the mixture well after adding the eggs so that it won't separate. The batter seems a bit thick, but once it's baked, it will flatten so it's ok.It's also tasty to add bananas, walnuts, or make a marble pound cake with cocoa powder or matcha powder.I think it's ok to use rum instead of brandy. Vickys Easter Simnel Cake, GF DF EF SF Vickys Easter Simnel Cake, GF DF EF SF
Not a lot of people know this but Simnel Cake is actually a Mothers Day recipe! They're most associated with our traditional Easter celebrations, Simnel cakes are a spicy fruit cake with a marzipan layer baked into the middle. The 11 marzipan balls that decorate the top represent the true disciples of Jesus. This cake is eaten after Lent and going back to Mothers Day, was usually shared at that time between a Mother and her daughters Vicky@Jacks Free-From Cookbook -
