Cut and wash the cauliflower into bite-sized pieces.

Heat oil in a wok or pan. Add garlic and scallions, stir-fry until fragrant. Toss in the cauliflower and sliced carrots.

A drizzle of water, soy sauce, Add salt, black pepper, five spice powder. Stir well and cook until cauliflower is just tender but still crisp.
