Steamed Breakfast Bread in 10 minutes

My husband doesn't have much of an appetite in the mornings, so he struggles to eat even a slice of bread... I want him to have an energetic start, so I make this soft steamed bread for him.
You can make variations: try adding banana and cinnamon, raisins, strawberry jam, or matcha and boiled adzuki beans! Recipe by Toa

Cooking Instructions

Put the dry ingredients in a bowl and mix well.

Stir in the milk until thickened, then pour it into moulds.

Put water in a pot (to a height of the first joint of your finger). Place the steamer in the pot, and steam for 10 minutes on medium to high heat for a fluffy finish.

They're done when a skewer poked through the middle comes out clean.
