Puffy Steamed Bread Puffy Steamed Bread
I wanted to create a recipe for a snack I could make easily with my children.Just mix it up and steam. If using a frying pan to steam the bread, use a deep one so that the tops of the puffed up bread won't get stuck to the kitchen towel. If you're using regular or extra-rich milk, I think you can increase it to 160 ml. Steamed Bread with Rice Flour Steamed Bread with Rice Flour
Steamed bread made with rice flour instead of wheat flour makes bread that doesn't go hard as quickly, so I recommend this method. After a few experiments I tried adding more sugar to this recipe to improve the flavour. When steaming the bread, please make sure the steamer is steaming before adding the bread.Steaming the bread over high heat will give them a nice texture. You can make 4 muffin cups instead if you'd prefer. in that case, steam them for 15 minutes. Steamed Vegetable Bread Steamed Vegetable Bread
I tried making steamed bread with my favourite brand of vegetable juice. The vegetable juice gives the bread a lovely colour! The steaming time will vary depending on the size of the cupcake moulds or the amount of mixture. Steam for about 10 minutes first then check the bread. Adjust the steaming time if necessary. Chewy Steamed Bread Chewy Steamed Bread
I had leftover snow cone syrup and leftover pumpkin paste and wondered if I could use these up in the steamed bread. It is hard to mix the mayonnaise and water, so I recommend adding a small amount of water at a time. Personally, I mix them all at once even though it is hard to do. Either ways would make the bread fluffy and chewy. Also, you will not taste the mayonnaise at all, so don't worry. Steamed Bread with an Almond Aroma Steamed Bread with an Almond Aroma
I wanted to make sweets using Chinese apricot kernel flour other than almond jelly. To enhance the sponginess, I used katakuriko and soy milk, but it is also tasty with just flour (increased to 100 g), and using regular milk. These are low in sugar, since almond powder is sweet.Steam must rise from the steamer or else the buns won't turn out fluffy. The buns puff up in aluminum cups more nicely than in paper or silicon cups. It's best not to fill the baking cups too much with batter. I recommend filling them about 70%. For 10 buns [to fill small aluminum baking cups]. Recipe by Minori105 cookpad.japan -

Steamed Bread Made in Parchment Paper Steamed Bread Made in Parchment Paper
I really overslept, and... I needed one more item to serve for breakfast! I didn't have anything in particular, so I tried making this. My kids happily ate these.Adding an egg yolk will increase the flavor and make it more tasty. Add it in Step 1 if you are going to use it. The bread will harden if you microwave it for too long, so take care. I think 2 minutes could even be too long depending on the microwave. Recipe by Tsukushigumi cookpad.japan -

Soft Chocolate Steamed Bread Soft Chocolate Steamed Bread
Whenever I look at fresh cream and chocolate I get the urge to bake a cake, but I've been making and eating too many recently, so I made a slightly healthier steamed bread instead. You can use milk instead of the cream, but using cream will make the steamed bread more moist. You can mix leftover cream with milk too.If you weigh the cream, you won't need a measuring cup and you have one less thing to wash up.I don't have a steamer, so I steam the bread in a frying pan. If you steam the bread in a mug in the microwave, please check the microwaving time, and keep in mind that the batter will double in volume. Recipe by Chibatama cookpad.japan -
Easy & Low-cal Steamed Bread Easy & Low-cal Steamed Bread
My eldest son loves chocolate but hates strawberries, and my younger son loves strawberries more than anything else, so I came up with this really easy recipe that would be a compromise to their preferences. This only takes 15 minutes: 3 minutes to prepare the ingredients and 12 minutes to steam. Use any fillings you like and enjoy for breakfast on busy mornings. You could also use cake flour instead of rice flour, and milk instead of soy milk. Recipe by TandT cookpad.japan
