Banana 🍌 and walnut loaf

I love banana bread and I’ve been trying to hunt for the best banana bread; alas I have not been able to be satisfied, hence I made my own!

A tasty banana bread recipe that the whole family will love. 🟢

I usually double this recipe, making 1 loaf and 1 batch of muffins. The recipe is very versatile. You can add more banana if you'd like to increase the banana flavor. I have also made it with add-ins (choc. chips, dried cranberries, chopped walnuts). Stir in after flour.

I rarely cook with cardamom but something about it reminds me of home. Adopting Nathaniel's banana bread recipe at capturesbytk.com, I added walnuts to the mix and used 65% dark chocolate. It came out super moist, well-balanced and homely.

I never liked banana bread until I perfected this recipe. Rich, moist, and full of delicious island flavors.

Better than putting a swirl of Nutella on a slice of banana is finding the Nutella already swirled in your banana bread. This a little messy to eat, but oh so delicious!

Browsing BBC's recipe site for vegan banana bread, I found this delicious and easy recipe for a loaf shaped banana bread. And I don't even like the taste of bananas, but this is so good. Recipe works great for muffins, too!

This recipe is special because when my grandma was alive, we would always ask her to make it, and we would purposely let the bananas ripen so she could make her famous bread. Now, maybe because of the season, I was craving her bread so much that I called my mom to get the recipe. I made it to honor and remember my grandma 💕. Her bread used baking powder, but I didn't have any, so a friend from Cookpad suggested using baking soda, and it turned out great 👍🎉✨

My kids forever cut the middle out of banana bread because it was "gewey". With this recipe, the whole loaf is so moist that they don't have to fight over the middle piece.

I was trying to think of a new twist for my basic banana bread recipe and Elvis' love of peanut butter and banana popped into my head.It's beyond what I expected and the perfect balance of banana to peanut butter!
