A warming wholesome, healthy, simple butternut and carrot soup

Ingredients

5 servings
  1. 2-3butternuts
  2. 3medium sized carrots
  3. 1big onion
  4. 3 clovesGarlic
  5. 1finger ginger
  6. Chicken cube milk or cooking cream
  7. 1healthy knob of butter or margarine

Cooking Instructions

    You can decide to roast the butternut for that burnt yummy taste or just fry them in a pot.

    Fry your onion till translucent then add your garlic and ginger

  3. 3

    Add your butternut chunks then after a short while, add your carrots

  4. 4

    Let it cook in a little water for at least 10 minutes turning so they don't burn

  5. 5

    Add your chicken cube after 10 minutes

  6. 6

    Then add your milk or cream to the mix

  7. 7

    Cover and let it cook for like 10 more minutes or until the butternut and carrots are done.

    Pour the whole mixture into your blender and blend away till thick or to your desired consistency

  9. 9

    Serve with toasted bread and enjoy 😉
