Ingredients

  1. 2 CupsGitheri(precooked)
  2. 1large onion(chopped)
  3. 2 clovesgarlic(finely chopped)
  4. 2large tomatoes(chopped)
  5. 1 teaspoontomato paste
  6. 1large green capsicum(shredded)
  7. 3carrots(cubed/diced)
  8. 1 bunchparsley/dhaania
  9. 2royce cubes
  10. 1 tablespoonoil

Cooking Instructions

    In a medium pot, sweat the onions. Add in the garlic and stir for a minute

    Add the tomato paste, stir it for a minute. Add in the chopped tomatoes, stir and cover. cook them into a paste.

    Add the githeri, stir and cook for 5minutes until it has absorbed all the flavours.

    Add in the shredded capsicum stir in for a minute.

    Add the royco cubes and half a cup of hot water, bring to boil then simmer slowly

  6. 6

    Add carrots at this point so that they remain crunch when served. Continue to for 5 minutes, add the dhania, stir in and remove from the flame. Serve hot
