This is a fail safe, always flaky pie crust that tastes just right.
Cooking Instructions

Sift or fluff flour, add the salt and stir. Add the lard and butter in small chunks, mix together quickly until size of small peas. Sprinkle ice water tablespoon by tablespoon over it.

Quickly mix together until pulls from bowl. The trick is quick and do not over mix

Separate into two balls

Roll out on floured surface and lift using rolling pin.

This is the perfect mix for yummy flaky piecrust.

For apple pie I would brush with beaten egg and cover the edges for 20 minutes and bake uncovered the last twenty minutes

I aimed for a recipe that wouldn't use too much butter and still be a delicious crust, so I made this.
