I think the recipe for this cookie dough originally came from a recipe on the back of a box that I saw when I (Mama) started making sweets in elementary school. Now it's a popular recipe. I've made fine adjustments to the recipe, and have settled on this ratio for more than 10 years. I have continued to make cookies with this reliable recipe.When using All-Purpose Flour instead of cake flour, the flour will absorb more liquid than cake flour, so use a large egg or reduce the amount of flour. About 220 g of flour in total should be just right. If you want well-defined shapes, chill the cut-out dough in the refrigerator or freezer to stiffen the dough.
