RC's Butter Tarts

Ingredients

  1. 1/3 cupbutter
  2. 2 tbspmilk
  3. 1egg, beaten
  4. 1 tspvanilla
  5. 1raisins
  6. 12pre-baked pastry tart shells
  7. 1 cuppacked brown sugar

Cooking Instructions

    Preheat oven to 450°

  2. 2

    Mix butter, brown sugar, milk, egg and vanilla in saucepan

  3. 3

    Heat on medium until mixture comes to a low boil. Make sure all ingredients are well mixed and butter is melted

  4. 4

    Put raisins in bottom of tart shells

  5. 5

    Pour melted mixture in tart shells

  6. 6

    Cook filled shells at 450° for 8 minutes, reduce heat to 350° and continue baking until lightly browned
