Wash your simsim in much water. As you wash, remove the floating dirt with a sieve. Then remove the simsim from one bowl of water to another. Remember, its not water from the simsim but sim sim from water. This should leave any stones and dirt/mchanga at the bottom. Add the salt(optional),Dry fry your simsim on medium heat until it dries and smells like simsim. Remve from fire and in a clean pan melt the sugar. Pour in the simsim mix thoroughly with a mwiko.
