Cooking Instructions

Add a tbsp of sugar to your warm water and add in the yeast. stir and let sit for at least 10 minutes

Measure and mix the dry ingredients. rub in the margarine and the vegetable oil

Add in the yeast solution and knead for 8 - 10 minutes. dust your mixing bowl, cover with a damp cloth and let sit for 20 - 30 minutes as it proofs

Cut your dough and shape into a handful ball. brush some milk on the dough balls and sprinkle some simsim seeds. roll into a circular shape and cut into 4 triangular shapes. do this for the rest of the balls

Arrange in a tray and let proof for a second time

In a medium high heated oil, fry your triangular dough pieces till golden brown on both sides. you should only turn them once. do this for the rest of your triangular shapes

Place in an underlined container and rest for at least 10 minutes before serving
