Ingredients

  1. For the rice
  2. cupLeftover rice..1
  3. Vegetables of your choice
  4. Vegetable oil and pinch of salt
  5. For the poached egg
  6. 1egg..raw
  7. Salt and a tablespoon of vinegar
  8. Enough water to boil the egg

Cooking Instructions

    Starting with the rice...Cut your vegetables and saute them in a pan

  2. 2

    Add in your rice and a little salt..give it a good mix and let it cook for a few minutes

  3. 3

    Set aside once ready

  4. 4

    To the poached egg now...Boil some water and let it simmer gently

  5. 5

    Break your egg in a clean bowl

  6. 6

    Add vinegar and salt the boiling water before adding the egg

  7. 7

    Skim off the excess floating egg white as it boils...

  8. 8

    If you want a runny yolk,boil it for a few minutes... Boil it longer if you want a firm yolk

  9. 9
