Ingredients

  1. for onion-tomato puree:.
  2. 2 tspoil
  3. 1onion finely chopped
  4. 3garlic cloves
  5. 1 inchginger
  6. 2to matoes finely chopped
  7. 4cashews
  8. other ingredients:
  9. 1-2 tbspoil
  10. 1/2 tspjeera
  11. 1 inchcinnamon stick dalchini
  12. 1­ bay leaf
  13. 3/4 tspkashmiri chilli powder
  14. 1/4 tspturmeric powder
  15. to tastesalt
  16. 3/4 tspcoriander powder
  17. 1/4 tspcumin powder
  18. 1/2-1 tspsugar
  19. 1/2 tspgaram masala powder
  20. 1 cupwater add to adjust consistency
  21. 2 tbspcurd
  22. 1/2 cuppeas fresh
  23. 200 gramspaneer
  24. 1 tspkasuri methi
  25. as neededfew coriander leaves chopped

Cooking Instructions

    Firstly in a large kadhai take oil and add chopped onions, ginger and garlic.
    saute on medium flame till onions turns slightly golden brown.

    Further add chopped tomatoes and saute till they turn soft.
    finally, add few cashews and blend to smooth paste.

    Firstly, in the same kadai add oil.
    further add jeera, cinnamon and bay leaf.

    Add chilli powder and turmeric directly to oil.
    now added blended onion - tomato paste and fry.

  5. 5

    Additionally add coriander powder, cumin powder, garam masala, sugar and salt and fry.
    furthermore, add 1 cup of water add 2 tbsp of curd and mix.

    Further add peas and add paneer cubes.
    cover and simmer for 10 minutes.
    finally, add crushed methi and coriander leaves.

  7. 7

    Serve hot with rice or Chapatis.
