Ingredients

  1. 3medium size Nduma
  2. 1medium size Onion (use the green leaf onion for best results)
  3. 5 podsgreen Cardamon (can use the powder if available)
  4. to tasteSalt

Cooking Instructions

  1. 1

Peel the Nduma, wash, cut into small sizes and put in a sufuria

  2. 2

Cut the onion and add to the Nduma in the Sufuria, Spreading them well on top of the Nduma.

  3. 3

Remove the Cardamon seeds from the pods, use them whole or powder them and add to the Nduma in the Sufuria.

  4. 4

Add water to half the size of Nduma in the Sufuria, they should not be totally cover to avoid overcooking them. Sprinkle salt on top and cover with a lid. Let them cook in medium size heat until ready and the water has dried. Check if they are well cooked using a fork before removing from fire first, if not add a little water and let them cook to your satisfaction. I love them hard not soft.

  5. 5

Serve them with a beverage of your choice. Enjoy😉.

I love healthy, clean, good, well cooked and of course.... tasty food! So for that reason, I must find my way to the kitchen. I love it most when someone enjoys the food I made, this gives me the pleasure to try out some new recipe the next time I find myself in the kitchen.
