Roasting Salted Peanut using Oven

Ingredients

  1. 2 Craw peanuts (with skin or no skin)
  2. 1/2 tspsalt
  3. 1/4 Cwater

Cooking Instructions

    Mix water and salt

  2. 2

    Mix your peanuts with the salty water and drain off excess

  3. 3

    Put your nuts in the baking tray and bake in a preheated oven 180°C for 5 minutes then stir to ensure even baking. Continue baking for 10more minutes and remove from oven

    Let them cool completely before eating or using them in a recipe.this is the best step to peel the skins off

    If using them for peanut butter..skip the soaking with salty water and also if you don't want them salted

    I live my peanuts a little bit overroasted hence the color..to achieve this colour I usually bake 10minutes then stir then 10more minutes..this gives me a darker and smoker taste especially in my peanut butter recipe

how to roast the salted peanuts on the frying pan? shall I soak them for a few minutes? I don't have micro oven.
