Cooking Instructions
- 1
Preheat the oven to 350°F. Grease a standard size muffin tin or line with parchment paper liners and set this aside. In a large bowl, whisk together the applesauce, maple syrup, eggs, butter and vanilla and set that aside.
- 2
In a separate bowl, whisk together the whole wheat flour, baking powder, baking soda, cinnamon, allspice, nutmeg and salt. Pour the dry ingredients into the wet and use a rubber spatula to mix until just combined. Then fold in the oats and the walnuts.
- 3
Scoop the batter evenly into the muffin tins and bake for 15-22 minutes, or until a toothpick comes out of the centers clean. Then, remove them from the oven, let them cool in the pan for 5 or so minutes, then pop them out of the pan and place them on a cooling rack to cool completely.

Moist Apple Muffins Moist Apple Muffins
These are our standard apple snack. Sweet and sour ruby apple chunks are scattered throughout the muffin. They have a gentle cinnamon aroma. The abundant amount of milk and yogurt makes them moist and fluffy. Kids love these autumn flavored first-rate muffins. (^-^)It's best to use Ruby (Jonathan) apples. If you use a different brand, it's a good idea to add some lemon juice to offset the sourness. Ruby apples are small, so if you use a brand of larger apples please adjust the amount accordingly. I kept the skins on this time but feel free to peel them if you would like. Adjust the amount of cinnamon to your taste. If the egg cools too much, it will be hard to blend in, so be careful about that. For details on how to make muffins, please refer to the following recipe. Recipe by Yukiline cookpad.japan -

Applesauce Cake Applesauce Cake
I had some applesauce so I thought of making this. You can substitute applesauce with chopped fruits (dried or fresh) or jam. It is very easy to make, your little ones can help you stirring and adding things to the batter! My kids are not that fond of cinnamon, so I didn't add any. I think a sprinkle of cinnamon on top will give more oomph to this dish. Angela Mertoyono -
Applesauce Banana Bread Applesauce Banana Bread
This is the best banana bread recipe I've made so far. It has less sugar, and I use half wheat flour to make it a little healthier. The applesauce helps it stay moist. I've even made muffins out of the recipe! I like to add a crumb topping, makes it a sweet treat! bozzalev
