Roasted Tomatoes Bolognese Sauce Roasted Tomatoes Bolognese Sauce
Circuit Breaker week 5 - Lately, it was hard to find yeast, plain flour, pasta, canned tomato, assorted cheese, baking powder etc etc.. and it happened that my son kept asking me for lasagna. Well oh well, mommy cannot find canned tomatoes so this is my first time making bolognese sauce from fresh tomatoes.Recipe is adapted from:https://laurenslatest.com/roasted-tomato-bolognese-sauce/ purple_acied -
Louisiana hot sauce Louisiana hot sauce
I adapted this from an old hot sauce recipe. And made different variations over time. Each batch turns out great. If you want less vinegar taste, use rice or cider vinegar. I suggest using at least half white vinegar regardless... But that's due to the creole in me :-)you can substitute the Tabasco peppers with any pepper of your choice. Just adjust for the heat!Make sure you make this in a well ventilated area, as the fumes can be irritating. Open a window and grab a fan if needed. nightychef -
Steak Fajitas with Queso Cheese Sauce Steak Fajitas with Queso Cheese Sauce
The smell and sounds of fajitas sizzling makes my mouth water. I like mine just meat cheese and veggies. But by all means, jazz it up anyway you like. I also use 2 tortilla shells and make burritos or quesadilas out of them. Raven -

Rice Mold with Cheese Sauce Rice Mold with Cheese Sauce
An impressive and unique presentation of rice for a buffet or dinner table. The result will satisfy you both visually and taste-wise.A few more secretsInstead of a ring mold, you can use a disposable aluminum cake mold. The ingredient quantities I provide are for such a mold. To prevent the dish from becoming too salty, make sure the kefalograviera cheese you use is not too salty. This recipe, with some variations, is from Mrs. Alexiadou. cookstellaTranslated from Cookpad Greece -
Beef in Oyster Sauce (蚝油牛肉) Beef in Oyster Sauce (蚝油牛肉)
This is another example of Filipino-Chinese cuisine. I have used baking soda to tenderise the meat, which was necessary because of the cheap cut of beef. Feel free to omit the step if you're using tenderloin or other cut that might not need it. I have again omitted all onion and garlic; if you want them, add them when you stir fry the ginger. 🇵🇭🇨🇳 蛟龍Stormwyrm -
Meatballs in tomato and coconut sauce Meatballs in tomato and coconut sauce
I'm pretty sure that my ability to cook is one of the keys to my marriage. In fact, I'm not 100% certain my wife would've agreed to marry me if it weren't for my passion for food and cooking. Still, that doesn't mean she doesn't occasionally have her doubts. Like when I told her I was going to make meatballs with tomato and coconut sauce for dinner. At first she assumed it'd be a curry, and when I told her it wouldn't be she simply said "it sounds a little weird." Fortunately the dish worked out (pretty brilliantly, actually), and both she and our daughter are believers once again. Robert Gonzal
