Note...i personally added cabbage to my soup at the end.Cabbage can spoil foods easily.You can use tha same method for chicken breast.

Note...i personally added cabbage to my soup at the end.Cabbage can spoil foods easily.You can use tha same method for chicken breast.
Cooking Instructions

Cut beef/chicken into strips and wash thougroughly with venigar
- 2
Wash and cut veggies into desired shape
- 3
Place beef into pan add seasoning cubes,salt,onion,grinded scotch bonnet and desired spices and allow beef to cook
- 4
Transfer cooked beef into another pan and fry lightly with very little oil
- 5
Add desired amount of water and allow to simmer
- 6
Mix corn flour with little water and pour into beef to thicken stirring countiniously to avoid lumps

Pour in veggies.Carrot,red and green pepper
- 8
Add more onions and allow to cook for 2mins
- 9
Soup can be served with white rice or cous cous

My family used to eat at Shoney's when traveling because there weren't any near our home town and we loved the food. I really enjoyed their soup and salad bar and my favorite soup was their cabbage beef which I never saw in a can in the grocery store so I came up with my own recipe.This recipe tastes even better after it's been refrigerated over night. I put a few clean jars of this soup in the refrigerator while it's hot and store it for up to a week after making.You can use less broth if you want lower sodium but make sure you add water in place of it.Billy
