Ingredients

  1. 3/4 cupchana dal
  2. 1/4 cupurad dal
  3. 1/4 cuptoor dal
  4. 1/4 cupmoong dal
  5. 2chilli
  6. 1 inchginger
  7. 2 tbspcurry leaves, finely chopped
  8. 2 tbspcoriander, finely chopped
  9. pinchhing
  10. 1 tspsalt
  11. as required oil for frying

Cooking Instructions

    Blend the soaked dal, 2 chilli and 1-inch ginger to a coarse paste without adding water.
    add reserved dal, 2 tbsp curry leaves, 2 tbsp coriander, pinch hing and 1 tsp salt. squeeze and combine them well.

    Furthermore, grease your hand with oil and prepare small balls, flatten the vada.
    and deep fry in hot oil. or preheat and bake at 180-degree Celcius for 25 minutes or until it turns golden and crisp.

    Also, stir occasionally till the dal vada turns golden and crisp.
    Finally, serve mix dal vada hot along with masala chai.
