Ingredients

  2. 1chopped green bell pepper
  3. 4 clovesgarlic, minced
  4. 16Roma tomatoes, chopped
  5. 2 tablespoonstomato paste
  6. 2bay leaves
  7. 1 1/2 teaspoonsblack pepper
  8. 1 teaspoonground cumin
  9. 1/2 cupdry white wine
  10. salt, to taste
  11. 1/2 cupvegetable or olive oil

Cooking Instructions

    In the hot oil, sauté the onion until it starts to become translucent, then add the bell peppers and garlic with a pinch of salt until they soften a bit.

    Add the bay leaves, black pepper, and cumin, and mix well.

    Add the tomatoes and tomato paste, and cook until they start to release their juices, then add the wine.
