Ingredients

  1. 2-3 piecesdried noodles
  2. 1big can of Mackerel in tomato sauce
  3. 1big can of water (or 1 1/2 - 2)
  4. (Measured Using Mackerel can/tin)
  5. 1big brown onion - thinly sliced
  6. 1 tbspfinely chopped garlic
  7. 1 tspchili flakes/chili powder (optional - adjust spiciness)
  8. 1 tbsptomato ketchup (optional)
  9. To taste - chicken seasoning powder or salt
  10. To taste - white ground pepper powder
  11. Note:
  12. 1. We sometimes top this noodle with chopped oriental coriander
  13. 2. Use your preferred seasoning(s) or just salt

Cooking Instructions

    Prepare ingredients - chopped garlic. Slice onion.

  2. 2

    Heat wok & heat 3 tbsp (or more) of cooking oil. Sauté garlic & brown onion until translucent. Stir in chili flake/chili powder if using then add a can of mackerel in tomato sauce. Add enough water (1 1/2 cans of water so its slightly soupy), chicken seasoning powder, ground pepper & stir to mix. Add dried noodles. Let it soften. Once soften, taste & adjust seasonings accordingly.
