Spaghetti Frittata (Pizza Topping)

In Indonesia, we might call this an Omelet or Internet (Indomie Egg Corned Beef) because it looks similar. This dish is a snack often made for picnics because they can't cook pasta, and even if they bring pasta, it has to be served hot. You can't bring a stove unless you're camping, so this frittata is a clever solution. With eggs and spaghetti, this frittata is very popular in Italy, especially in southern regions like Naples. Frittata means something fried, so it's very practical to bring this dish on a picnic. Why does it look like a pizza? Because Italy is famous for its pizza, of course! The topping is optional... let's try the recipe 😘

Cooking Instructions
- 1
Mix the frittata ingredients: eggs, milk, cheese, and salami. Beat lightly. Set aside.
- 2
Cook the spaghetti until soft (not al dente), drain. Prepare a container with oil, add the spaghetti, and mix well.
- 3
Add the beaten eggs to the spaghetti, mix well. Heat a pan with oil over medium-low heat, pour in the frittata mixture. Spread evenly in the pan while pressing down, cook until slightly browned.
- 4
Flip the frittata using a pan lid/plate, cook the uncooked side until it appears browned. Tidy up the edges. At this point, it's actually ready to be enjoyed, but...
- 5
I added toppings to make it look pretty like a pizza hehe... Cook over low heat and cover until the cheese appears melted. Now the Italian-style omelet can really be enjoyed.. Yum 🤤

Pizza monkey bread Pizza monkey bread
My kids love pizza and bug me all the time for pizza. I get tired of frozen pizza and sometimes don’t have the money to order a pizza. This works out great and everyone is happy. It’s easy and quick, and I also make my pizza dip, with this and have a pizza night. I like to cut a chunk off and put it on a plate with dipping sauce, and put some pizza dip and baguettes for each kids plate , and they still get to eat it like monkey bread. ( see other recipe- pizza dip) 🌈NinjaMommaKitchen🌈 -
