Ingredients

  1. 2 tablespoonblack pepper powder
  2. 500 gmchicken
  3. 1 cupgobindobhog / jasmine rice
  4. 1 cuprozana basmati rice
  5. to taste salt
  6. 10-12Garlic cloves
  7. 2big onions
  8. 2carrots sliced thin
  9. 1 tablespoonpaprika powder/ Kashmiri mirch
  10. as neededOlive oil/ sunflower/ rice oil
  11. 1 teaspoonnutmeg powder (optional)

Cooking Instructions

    Marinate the chicken in salt, pepper and paprika

  2. 2

    Soak both the rice in water for 30 minutes

  3. 3

    Add oil and 6-7 pieces of crushed garlic cloves to the PRESSURE COOKER and sauté the chicken at medium flame till it turns white

  4. 4

    Add the onions and carrot at this stage, remaining cloves of garlic, add salt, sauté till the onions are translucent.

  5. 5

    Add the rice, add equal quantity of water and cook for 1 whistle. Turn off and wait for the steam to go out on it's own.
