In a bowl add butter and sugar and stir untill sugar dissolve, add egg flavour and mix again,add flour and knead to form a daugh, wrap the daugh with cling film or leather and deflect using rolling pin let it be smooth and leveled

Wash and remove the coconut brown cover then great add icing sugar milk and food colour, then mix well

Spread the coconut fillings at edge and roll over, open the leather and cut into bars
- 4
Arrange in a baking tray, bake for 15 mins, enjoy with tea or juice

My daughter had international day and her class got Yugoslavia. We made Dream Bars or aka Christmas cookies. They were a hit! Everyone loved them. I made 2 flavors, blackberry was the traditional with walnuts, but I also made a raspberry 😍 . They were divine! I found a cookie bar recipe years ago and have tried different variations to finally achieve a winning recipe my sons absolutely love. They prefer the recipe presented here, but you can vary the chips and nuts according to your taste. Sometimes I make the bars with no nuts, but I prefer the walnuts added.
